在本次演講中,首先由福特人資經理介紹福特六和汽車公司,並分享如何撰寫一份好履歷。隨後,進入本次演講的主軸-車輛開發流程。首先,陳總工程師透過影片呈現車輛設計分成設計與工程兩大主軸。接著,陳總工程師介紹福特汽車獨特的車輛開發體系 - Global Product Development System(GPDS),GPDS 旨在通過系統化的開發流程,創造出高品質且具吸引力的產品。GPDS 建立在精實生產、消費者需求分析以及生產計劃時間預測等概念上。該系統分為四個階段:「規劃」階段,分析消費者需求,明確產品規格並完成設計;「開發」階段,通過虛擬工程模擬如 DPA 與 CAE, 預測並解決生產中可能遇到的問題;「驗證」階段,製造實際車輛並進行引擎、耐久性等多項測試;最後的「投產」階段,正式生產產品,並進行物料 與人力資源的調配。

In this lecture, we start with an introduction to Ford and its automotive company by the human resources manager from Ford, along with tips on how to write an effective resume. Then, we move into the main focus of the lecture—the vehicle development process. First, Chief Engineer Chen showcases the vehicle design process through a video, dividing it into two main pillars: Design and Engineering. Following this, Chief Engineer Chen introduces Ford's unique vehicle development system - the Global Product Development System (GPDS). GPDS aims to create high-quality and attractive products through a systematic development process, built on principles of lean manufacturing, consumer demand analysis, and production planning timing forecasts. This system is divided into four stages: the "Planning" stage, which analyzes consumer needs, defines product specifications, and completes the design; the "Development" stage, where virtual engineering simulations like DPA and CAE are used to predict and address potential production issues; the "Validation" stage, involving the manufacturing of actual vehicles and conducting various tests such as engine and durability tests; and finally, the "Launch" stage, where production officially starts and materials and human resources are allocated.
