介紹幹細胞技術在腎臟疾病治療與藥物研發上的應用。演講首先說明了細胞增
殖和分化的概念,說明幹細胞具有自我更新和多能分化的特性。幹細胞可分為
全能性、多能性、多潛能和單潛能等不同類型,能分化成外胚層、中胚層和內
胚層的各種細胞,這對再生醫學具有重要意義。
對未來發展之啟發:幹細胞技術,特別是 iPSC 技術的發展,為醫療領域開創了
新的可能性。這不僅在腎臟疾病的治療方面提供了新思路,也為藥物開發提供
了更精確的研究平台。對於我們實驗室來說,可以反過來省思目前創新醫材計
劃該如何改進,達到更好的病人洗腎效果預測。

The lecture introduced the application of stem cell technology in treating kidney diseases and drug development. It began with an explanation of cell proliferation and differentiation, highlighting the unique properties of stem cells, including self-renewal and pluripotency. Stem cells are categorized into totipotent, pluripotent, multipotent, and unipotent types, with the ability to differentiate into various cells from the ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm, which is of great significance for regenerative medicine. The advancement of stem cell technology, particularly induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology, has opened up new possibilities in the medical field. It not only offers new approaches for treating kidney diseases but also provides a more precise research platform for drug development. From our laboratory's perspective, this encourages us to reflect on how we can further improve our current innovative medical device projects to enhance dialysis outcome predictions for patients.
