Application for the AY2026 Doctoral Program Fellowships (NSTC & Ministry of Education)

1. NSTC Allocated Doctoral Fellowship: For doctoral students (International students, except for those admitted via Direct Admission to the Doctoral Program, please contact the Office of International Affairs), please prepare the application form and relevant documents.

2. MOE Doctoral Fellowship: Eligible applicants must be domestic, non-part-time/non-on-service doctoral students in their 1st to 3rd year as of September of AY2026 (including renewal applicants and students admitted via Direct Admission to the Doctoral Program). The fellowship period is from August 1 of the current year to July 31 of the following year. However, for students who are in their 3rd year of the doctoral program in September of the current year, the fellowship will terminate at the end of their 3rd year. Please prepare the application form and relevant documents.

3. Students who meet any of the following conditions are NOT eligible to apply for or receive either of the two fellowships mentioned above:

➢ Those who hold full-time paid employment in public or private institutions, or those who enrolled with an on-service/part-time student status.

➢ Those who enrolled with the student status from Hong Kong, Macau, or Mainland China.

➢ Those who are on a leave of absence, have deferred their admission, or have not completed the registration process.

➢ Those who are already receiving other scholarships or fellowships funded by government sectors.

➢ Those who fail to submit the required annual periodic evaluation materials in accordance with regulations.

Please submit both (1) a hard copy and (2) an electronic file of the application form and supporting documents to Ms. Shan-Shan Liu at Room 214, Agricultural Machinery Engineering Building before 17:00 on July 13, 2026, depending on the fellowship you are applying for. Please email the electronic file to: shanshanliu@ntu.edu.tw. Please arrange the application materials in order. Hard copies do not need to be bound. All the aforementioned documents are mandatory. Please check carefully before submission to avoid any replacement of documents that may delay the application process.
