Program Information:

Agricultural Machinery Safety Operation and Maintenance Training Program - National Taiwan University

Commissioned by the Agriculture and Food Agency, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, the NTU Department of Biomechatronic Engineering will conduct the 2025 "Agricultural Machinery Safety Operation and Maintenance Training Program". NTU offers six specialized workshops, each with two sessions. The curriculum combines lectures with field visits to machinery manufacturers and hands-on practice to integrate theory with practical skills. Participants who complete the program will receive certificates. All interested personnel are welcome to attend.

Program Objectives:

• Establish an agricultural machinery education and extension center to provide technical training courses
• Cultivate skilled personnel for machinery operation and maintenance, enhancing farmers' repair capabilities and safe operation skills to improve farming efficiency
• Integrate smart agriculture technologies into agricultural machinery training programs
• Develop innovative training models using new technologies to enhance educational effectiveness
