NTU Department of Biomechatronics Engineering

Master Program

Master's Program Admission Announcement - Letter from the Director

Dear Student,

Congratulations on standing out among outstanding applicants from various departments nationwide and being admitted (either as a primary or alternate candidate) to the NTU Graduate Institute of Biomechatronic Engineering.

Our curriculum focuses on four major fields: "Mechanical Systems," "Mechatronic Control," "Artificial Intelligence," and "Bioprocessing," with 22 distinguished faculty members. The institute centers on intelligent biomechatronic systems (BME 4.0) education, cultivating R&D leaders for emerging industries including smart machinery, IoT, new agriculture, biomedical engineering, green energy, and circular economy. For research, our master's and PhD students develop projects in agricultural, biomedical, mechatronic, and energy applications under faculty guidance, covering diverse domains.

Due to pandemic access control measures, we cannot hold an orientation this year. To help you understand our research fields and select an advisor, please refer to the NTU BME introductory package via the link below.

Once again, congratulations on your admission to NTU BME. May our institute become the cradle for your academic growth!

Sincerely,
Director Lin-Chi Chen
