CECI Engineering Consultants, Inc., Taiwan (CECI) is offering summer internship opportunities (internally referred to as "summer work-study") for university and college students.
Although CECI's primary business is civil and transportation engineering design, there are substantial electromechanical requirements across various large-scale projects. Through internal inquiries, we learned that the company's Mechanical Department has frequently offered internship positions in the past. However, most applicants came from civil engineering and construction departments, making successful matching difficult. This represents a unique advantage and opportunity for our students with expertise in mechatronics and mechanical engineering!
Students interested in engineering technology and consulting, or those wishing to gain practical experience, are encouraged to review the information below and submit their applications:
📌 Internship Departments and Content
• Relevant Departments: The company has departments highly relevant to our expertise, including the Electrical Department, Mechanical Department, Smart Systems Department, BIM (Building Information Modeling) Center, Railway Department Electromechanical Group, MRT Department Systems and Electromechanical Group, and Information Department.
• Work Content: Assist various technical departments with daily engineering design and related tasks (assignments may be based on students' academic majors or proficiency in computer software such as MS Office).
• Learning Opportunities: High-performing students or those assigned to specific projects may have the chance to learn new computer-aided engineering design software (e.g., AUTODESK CIVIL 3D).

• Work Location: Neihu Headquarters Building (No. 323, Yangguang Street, Neihu District, Taipei City).
• Transportation Information: Approximately a 20-minute walk from Gangqian Station on the Wenhu Line of the MRT. YouBike stations are available at both the MRT station and the company for commuting.
📝 Application Method and Process
The number of internship openings will depend on the positions offered by each department for the given year. The department must submit an official letter to CECI to confirm our students' academic backgrounds and the required number of placements. CECI's HR department will then facilitate matching with internal technical departments.
• Registration: Students interested in applying for summer internships should register with Professor Chien-Fang Ding by May 22. The department will then compile student numbers and academic backgrounds and submit a formal letter on behalf of students to secure internship opportunities.
