生機系侯詠德副教授此次邀請日本九州大學化學工學部門的井嶋博之教授/主任於2023 年10 月21 日至24 日蒞臨本系，並於10 月24 日與生機系的師生於生機系高坂知武紀念室一同參與National Taiwan University and Kyushu University Joint-symposium。井嶋博之教授的研究專長是人工肝臟、生物反應器、再生醫學、藥物釋放系統與奈米材料。研究內容則分別針對：(1) 臟器再構築(細胞自己組織化、脫細胞化)；(2) 組織保存(細胞保存、組織保存)；(3) 微細加工(nanofiber, Gel-in-Oil emulsion) 等主題進行探討。在會中，除了井嶋博之教授帶來的「Development of practical high-performance artificial liver and application to various medical engineering fields by shaping functional materials」、陳力騏教授的「From flow-analytical manifolds to dynamic cell-cultivating scaffolds」、鄭宗記教授的「Real-time monitoring of the dissolution of pH-responsive polymer coatings by capacitive sensing with signal protection mechanism」、侯詠德副教授的「Decellularized liver matrix-based materials for liver tissue engineering application」 _演講之外；鄭宗記教授、盧彥文教授與侯詠德副教授的學生們亦一同針對下述的四個主題參與報告討論：「Development of self-assembling decellularized liver matrix-based nanoparticles for NAFLD therapy; Hepatic patch for liver regeneration after CCl4 poisoning; The effect of plants extract oils on ameliorating hepatic functions; Self-healing hydrogel containing decellularized liver matrix and endothelial cell-covered hepatocyte spheroids for rescue of injured hepatocytes」。會中除了讓本系教師群能與井嶋博之教授交流討論研究議題之外，井嶋博之教授亦於會後寄送相關實驗器具供生機系相關研究團隊使用，相信這更能增加未來兩方的交流合作之機會!
